This dish was a snap to make and delish! I accompanied it with the roasted onions. I immediately emailed the recipe to my son and a dear friend from my hometown, another foodie. I used panko for the extra crunch. The lemony sauce was devine. YUM!!

came out great! didn't have any white wine on hand so i used white wine vinegar and cut back on the lemon juice and added the lemon zest instead. served with the buttermilk mashed potatoes and roasted broccolini - yum!

This is become a staple in our house with a few adjustments. I do prefer panko crumbs to breadcrumbs becuase they are crunchier, but that's just personal preferance. my husband didn't care for all the parsley so I skipped it the second time around and added cappers. The kids get a sauceless version as chicken nuggets. The sauce creates a fresh and flavorfull version for the adults and everone is happy!

I have made this recipe a bunch of times and I absolutely LOVE it! I really don't know what the other cooks were doing to make this recipe turn out bitter but mine has never been. I have a picky 3 yr old that even loves this and Lord knows he won't eat anything bitter. I do add some capers in the sauce as some of the other reviewers have also done. One of my absolute favorites! Thanks Ina!

Seriously, can Ina do ANY wrong? That would be a no.
I tried this recipe tonight. And being a single gal with some left over chicken, lemons and panko bread crumbs, I found it extremely easy to cut the recipe in half to serve 1.
I didn't have bread crumbs, nor did I have the motivation to toast up some wheat bread to make them. So, I used some left over panko and seasoned it myself with dried rosemary, thyme, oregano and basil. Turned out perfectly.
Also, I didn't have any white wine but had some left over peach wine. I used that instead and still turned out great. However, use less lemon juice if you use a fruit flavored wine as it turns out more tart than intended.
Can't wait to make this for one of my dinner parties!

This is such an easy and wonderful dish. I have made it several times. I added capers one time which was a nice addition.
