Amazing! I made one big pot pie because I didn't have individual bowls and it turned out great. I was a little worried when I put all the ingredients in the pot because I thought it would be to runny but it thickened up and was really perfect!

If you want to impress guests make this! For those of us that grew up eating frozen pot pies this is beyond amazing. This was one of the first Ina recipies I attempted and my family loved it. Since then I've made if for many others and received great reviews!

This was my first attempt at a pie of ANY kind and wow wow wow I was kind of impressed with myself. The crust is flaky, buttery, perfect - and the filling is creamy, full, and no-fuss. It was a little time consuming (I move slow but soooooo well worth it. I've made it twice now, the first time with the chicken roasted just the way Ina says to, and the second time with leftover turkey I had roasted the day before. Both times it came out consistent and just excellent. Perfect for a rainy day. Forget Martha Stewart, Ina, you're the BOMB!

Love this chicken pot pie ! I clear out my freezer before I make it so that I can put aside a few, wrapped individually for a rainy day. Perfect for my sons and hsusband that love a hearty "comfort food" meal !

I made this for my parents, and my dad was upset because he HATES chicken pot pie. But after he had this it's now one of his favorite meals. Modified a tad with the amount of liquids and veggies, just amazing.

totally delicious! i omitted the pearl onions. i sauteed some mushrooms with fresh corn, chopped onions, and potatoes in some butter. added fresh thyme as well. my boyfriend ate 2 bowlfuls!

Made this recipe many times. Always a hit. Any rating below 4 stars makes me question technique.
Hint: If you substitute / omit / add more than two ingredients, you are not making this recipe.
