Huge Ina Garten fan. I should have read the reviews first. LOVE the fresh cucumber flavor, but this recipe is a salt *****. Will definitely make this again, but with 1/2 or 1/4 the salt and probably 1/2 the red onion...mine was quite intense

I loved the texture of the soup, but the salt called for in the recipe is WAY too much! My guests ate the soup, but it did take them lots of water to wash it down unfortunately. I will make this again but will cut the salt called for in the original recipe by one half and I think that will be sufficient. Obviously if anyone wants to add salt they can---but you can't take it out!

Delicious summer soup. Couldn't be easier to make. The lemon juice makes the soup pop and the flavors meld together perfectly. I used slightly less red onion and cream and omitted the shrimp altogether. Great recipe that doesn't even use a pot (just a big bowl and a food processor. How Easy Is That?

This is an older recipe of Ina's and I've used it several times. It is delicious. If you will notice, the charity event raised a lot of money for a program that helps sexually abused girls and adult survivors of sexual abuse.

This was my first time making, and really appreciating, cold soup-- absolutely delicious! Ina was right, of course: adding the splash of lemon in the end totally transforms and completes the flavors... so wonderful! The perfect bowl of soup to enjoy in the summer sun!

I love this soup i never thought I'd see Ina making it.We make it in my country its soooo good so light. You can make it with only yogurt, cucumbers, water, dill u can add garlic and chopped walnuts for a little crunch and its still amazing.Pour it in a glass and u're good to go :
