I only made the icing but it was delicious! I mean it was light, fluffy, creamy, just perfect. I spread it over a boxed chocolate fudge cake and just wonderful.

As an English viewer I made these using the UK recipe for my son-in-law's birthday and he loved them! Those of us that are not so keen on peanuts ate them without any icing and they were still delicious. I am an avid watcher of Ina's. Had to search very hard to find Buttermilk in English stores but eventually found it in the English Walmart - called Asda over here. Any chance of them doing half and half?

I've only used the recipe for the peanut butter icing and it is AMAZING! I made it for a party I was going to and everyone LOVED them! If you love peanut butter, you have to try this. Didn't have enough creamy peanut butter, so I used the chunky instead. Put it in food processor to grind it up a little first, was actually good with a little crunch to it:

OMG! So far, I've only made the peanut butter icing and it was FABULOUS!! If you are a peanut butter lover, you will love this icing. It's very peanut butter-y and I can't wait to try the chocolate cupcakes with it. The only changes were I halved the amount of sugar to 1/2 cup and used real vanilla bean rather than extract because I ran out and happened to have the other lying around. I am making these and strawberry shortcake cupcakes for my children's birthday party next week., YUM!

These were SO good! I was a little worried at first because the batter was heavier than I was used to, but they baked beautifully for about 16 minutes and were very moist and light. The frosting was delicious, too. I made them for a friend who loves peanut butter cups, so I added a mini Reese's cup in the middle of each cupcake (before baking and topped the frosting with chopped pb cup pieces.

Made them the first time today. They are absolutely to die for. I do think they are a little bit heayve, but oh so DELICIOUS. Mine didn't rise that well, so the next time I think I will just add some more Baking Soda (about a 1/2 tsp more. Thanks Ina, for this gorgeous recipe.

These cupcakes are AMAZING! The cake was moist. I only put a 1/2 cup of the powered sugar in the icing and that made the perfect sweetness. (I don't like sweet things, so the cup of sugar might be to your taste
