after reading the other reviews, i followed my own recipe for the cupcakes, but the frosting was a little too heavy for my taste... definitely needed some milk to wash it down.

Loved it, as did all my family and my boyfriend. The icing was the best though, it was delicious and sooo easy to make. They were very moist too, but also crumbley. I plan to make them again.

I loved the icing, and so did my girlfriend. But the cupcakes themselves were on the dry and unsatisfactory side. Another reviewer previously made a comment about liking a 'bigger crumb' which I read prior to making the recipe, I and thought it was an odd comment. But now that I've made the recipe I agree. The cupcakes just kind of crumble away to nothing. Overall BIG stars for the icing, no stars for the cupcakes.

Ina has done it again. The icing is fantastic! The adults loved it...the kids loved it...it was a great success. I have used the icing in many other applications. You can always count on Ina to come through with flying colors.

Perfect for kids and adults. The classic combo of chocolate and peanut butter come together happily with this recipe. The cupcakes are extremely chocolatey and moist. The icing is simple, yet decadent. These are a bit unexpected and very appreciated. I have some chocolate cupcakes sitting in my freezer right now. Spoil yourself and make these for no special occasion.

Ina's right; these do taste just like Reese's peanut butter cups!
