    Love these cupcakes. They are beautiful as well as tasty. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but I tried them anyway. So glad that I did. They are so moist and lots of flavor. These aren't your typical cupcakes. These are cupcakes that you bring out for a "wow" moment.

    Hello first of all if you make this correctly it is out of this world delicious. loves2bake you should try it again. This was one of the best recipes ever. I left the coffee grounds out of mine.

    I made these a few days ago and they were awful! They were so dense and had a terrible texture. Don't use this recipe but try to find one that uses baking soda and/or baking powder. I don't understand why Ina's didn't have any, but the cupcakes definitely were NOT good. The only good thing I can say is that the ganache was delicious (I used instant coffee. Overall this recipe was a waste of money and a waste of time. I had to throw the whole batch out-- I couldn't even force myself to eat a whole cupcake!

    They were not good. My kids didn't like them and they love to eat cupcakes. Poor texture and the flavor was even worse. I tried them a second time and was still heartbroken. Shame on you Ina! What a waste of time and money. Why waste T.V. airtime for a poor product? At least I have instant espresso for the next time I go camping, which is never....Thanks.

    These were, no doubt, the best cupcakes ever! They were absolutely delicious, and stayed moist for about 4 or 5 days. Ina, your the best!

    These were some of the best cupcakes I have ever tasted!! The coffee really did enhance the flavor, intensifying the bitterness of the chocolate. They were still moist after 3 days. Also,they were so easy to make. A winner in my book!!

    I watched the program where Ina made these cupcakes and they looked delicious, but after reading the reviews, I was confused about the recipe. I discovered a 16oz can of syrup measured out is 11 fuid ounces, so use the entire can.
    The cake turned out very moist and I liked the texture. The ganache was shiny and tasted amazing.
    Would definitely make again. Thanks for a great recipe!

    This rating is for the ganache - I fudged and used a boxed cake mix for my cupcakes!! I was nervous about the ganache, and there were several recipes that I came across -- but this was perfect! SUPER easy, and it turned out creamy and shiny and delicious. I'll be making it again!

    Absolutely yummy the best chocolate cupcakes I have ever tasted. My neighbor and husband both agree. Totally moist and full of flavor. The ganache has the richest and most heavenly chocolate dreaminess. Thanks Ina for that recipe!
