This recipe was one of the best I have ever made. I went ahead and made it without the GM and orange zest and it still came out great. A great dessert for all ages. 5 Stars; Thanks Ina.

This recipe is very rich and tasty but was a lot of work. I was not real crazy about the orange taste in the chocolate either but my guests enjoyed it. I would only make it for a very special occasion when i had the time as it requires quit a few steps. It is very pretty in parfeit glasses.

I've been using Ina's chocolate mousse recipe from her "Family Style" cookbook for a few years now, and it's been my most popular dessert (even more than her Outrageous Brownies! With the addition of Grand Marnier, I think the recipe has achieved perfection.
Serve it as-is, poured into a chocolate crust, or layered/molded on top of a solid cake layer, this is a wonderful addition to your recipe collection.

Is very easy to make. Takes a little bit of time. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed it and asked for the recipe.

I like chocolate mousse. I like Grand Marnier. But together, in this recipe, the orange flavour is overpowering if made as written.
On the up side, it was very easy to make and came together very well.
Were I to make it again, I'd half the amount of GM and use a third less orange zest.
