Excellent chocolate flavor, easy to make, clear directions. Liked the hint to roll in powdered sugar, instead of cornstarch, to keep from sticking to your hands when shaping. Sets up in an hour! Yea! Sometimes other recipes give you a set-up time and you have to double it, these do set up in an hour.

Incredible, just like everything Ina makes. My boys like things a little sweeter, so I like to mix the cocoa powder and confectioners sugar together and roll the truffles in the combo and they love them! Made them this morning as Valentine's gifts for teachers and had to banish the boys from the kitchen to make sure we had gifts for teachers! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

HORRIBLE. Don't make these they never set up and they were like soup. I put them in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Making them for a dinner party. They tasted ok as chocolate soup but I was very disappointed :(

Who knew something so tasty could be so easy to prepare. These will definitely be a treasure for our annual holiday treats. If you happen to like Dove chocolates, you will LOVE these! They have a wonderful silky texture.

Delicous! I made it without the alcohol and it tasted just fine. I had to re-roll the truffles in confectioner's sugar because it started to be absorbed by the truffles. It is best when you roll them and serve immediately after.

Great, but she just mentioned the Grand Marnier in the show. In the show she used Frangelico and rolled in chopped hazlenuts. I have made the same recipe for years, but without the coffee addition, which is great, to have another layer of flavor. I have used many liqueurs, too. I love the idea from Gwendell to use hazlenut flavored kahlua, and I bet the peppermint flavored Kahlua would be great also!

Delicious and easy! I used the Grand Marnier in half the batch and half Kahluah with about 3/4 bittersweet and 1/4 semi... yum! I agree with a previous post that rolling them in cocoa powder lends a bitter quality, I used cocoa powder and confectioners sugar mixed. Thanks for another great one, Ina!

These truffles are excellent! I used all semi sweet chocolate and I substituted Frangelico for the Grand Marnier. I will make these again soon!
