Loved this soup. I will make this every summer from now on! I seeded the tomatoes and added only 1 tsp. pepper. So delicious with the fresh basil and a toasted cheese sandwich!

i made this soup yesterday for dinner and it is absolutely delicious. i would recommend like everyone else to use less pepper though, it comes out quite spicy. i also have to admit to using two cans of whole tomatoes because the tomatoes in my store werent looking too ripe.

Easy to make, loads of beautiful colors, not too sweet, but oh so flavor-full. This will easily become a key part of our dinner rotation. I didn't add the cream - it really does not need it! It was even better the next day. The whole family enjoyed this recipe (including my 8 month old!

This was one of the best tomato soup recipes I've made. Wonderful flavors that blend so well with each other. I used a blender and it turned out both creamy and a bit chunky. Yum. I recommend using less salt if using a store bought chicken stock or broth. I also prefer about a half teaspoon less of the pepper, but if you llke your tomato soup spicy (hot you will love this recipe.

Just made this soup today and love the blend of flavors. One tip I would add is to remove the seeds from the tomatoes, this makes the soup creamy. I did use half and half instead of heavy cream.

I am not a fan of tomatoe soup either but this is full of flavor. Easy to make exactly as the recipe says.

This is what my husband said when he tried this soup: "Wow, this is amazing". I did not change anything. Easy to make and very yummy.
