    This is a great soup! I confess to using 1% milk instead of cream and only 1 tablespoon of olive oil because I've recently lost 27 pounds and want to keep it off. I knew it would still be a great soup because fresh tomatoes and basil are the key components (and fat free!. We love Ina's recipes and watch her every weekend...she's the best!

    My husband and I loved this soup! It was easy too! The only thing I would change is to add a bit less pepper because the 2 tsp made the soup a bit too spicy, which detracted from the fresh flavors. Next time I would use 1 tsp instead.

    This is a super recipe. We have fresh tomatos and basil and it was great to make a soup from the garden!! I wouldn't change a thing.
