Absolutely delicious and utterly simple. I needed to double the recipe and didn't have enough ramekins so I made one large brulee and served it family style. It was gorgeous and there wasn't a drop left.

Love, love, love this. Did I say I love this? Perfect as is, but if you throw in a some berries, 'how bad could it be'? I make this for any dinner party when I'm feeling stressed and you instantly become the toast of the town. Even those who say they don't like creme brulee end up finishing it to the last drop...This will not disappoint.

Creme brulee is always a favorite desert of mine. This absolutely has to be the best recipe EVER! The Grand Marnier is crucial, although the flavor is suttle. I would put this recipe up against any creme brulee. Don't change anything!

Easy Prep, excellent results. Note the recipe calls for extra large eggs - if yours is not setting up this may be your problem. I added a little orange zest as well (AZ oranges now in season
Good excuse to buy a blowtorch.

I made this recipe for a holiday dinner party and the recipe was super easy and super yummy! When making the creme brulee I left out the 1 TB orange liqueur and used about 1/2 TB instead 1 TB of sugar for the topping. I didn't use a torch to heat the sugar instead I turned the oven on to broiler and broiled the creme brulee for 4 minutes, it's not good as a torch but sufficed!!! I definitely would recommend everyone try this recipe. I give this recipe 5 stars.

This was my first time making creme brulee. I tested the recipe a couple of days ago because I wanted to make it for friends for our Christmas get together. It turned out perfectly. Here's what I learned during the testing: I don't have a stand mixer with a paddle, so I used just one of the beaters in my portable. It still created air bubbles on the top of the egg mixture, so I simply skimmed that off. Didn't have a kitchen torch, so I tried melting sugar close to the broiler. It worked ok, but it made the custard warm. I had 2 brulees left, so, yesterday I went to Bed Bath & Beyond & purchased a small kitchen torch for $20. That made all the difference in the world. The brulees were beautiful & tasted great! So tonight I make them for our friends! Hope they're impressed! :

Wonderful flavor, however none of my guests could taste the orange liqueur so I'll either omit it completely or increase the measurement. I've made this recipe probably 6 times and it always comes out great, again, just can't taste the orange.
