I agree with other reviewers that the citrus was a bit much. It didn't ruin the pie, it just made it taste a little too bright. The crust was fantastic and easy, and I even made it without benefit of a food processor. Next time I will reduce or omit altogether the citrus, and increase the spices. As is, it is still a very tasty pie.

The pie crust recipe is perfection; however, the apple filling was way to citrusy for my liking(and the liking of my friends. I even used around half the amount of orange and lemon in the recipe. I am making it again this week, but will be ommiting all the orange zest/juice and lemon zest.
