I made this last night for my husband and I and we both just loved it! You can't go wrong with this recipe. It is pure, simple, chocolate goodness!

I have never had Gelato, but it looked so good, I had to try it. This is what I did....saw the show, looked up the recipe, read the reviews, went to the store and bought the ingredients I needed, and made the Gelato. ( I don't understand why people make these recipes when they don't have the correct ingredients. This was so easy, and very, very chocolatey. The texture is incredible. The only thing I did differently was add chopped Ferraro Rocher candies instead of Baci.

This recipe is wonderful! I used 1 tsp. of vanilla, 1/2 tsp. orange extract and the finely grated zest of 1 orange and it was incredible! We love the chocolate/orange combination ever since trying it in Italy. This is the next best thing to actually being there!

This is for those who REALLY love chocolate! Wonderful stuff. I was out of Kahlua AND vanilla, so I substituted Gran Marnier and Boyajian's raspberry flavoring. used Trader joe's English Toffee (chopped small, and topped all with Ina's roasted berries. To die for and company went wild.

I have not made this yet, but was thinking about how great chocolate and orange go together. Just checking to see if some brave soul has tried this gelato using orange liqueur. I love Ina! Can't wait to try it.

This gelato is very chocolatey! Perfect. I used Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa, and I didn't add the chocolates at the end. It didn't need it. SO good.

I'm a huge chocolate fan but ice cream and gelato are not usually my first choices for getting a chocolate fix. That said, this gelato was amazing! The depth of the chocolate was wonderful. My kids and husband thought it was the best gelato they've eaten. I followed the recipe exactly except I used cut up truffles from Costco instead of the ones she recommends because my daughter has nut allergies. I would also recommend chopped bittersweet chocolate as well.

who watches Ina for the music?? LOL I'm so busy trying to watch what she's doing and get it down right so I can duplicate it for myself I woudn't care if they played elevator "musak". There's so many other really important things in life we can get irritated about her show's musicjust isn't one of them. I love this gelato-my family loves this gelato. I've made it 3 times now. So scrumptious! Keep up the great work Ina! I'm a lifetime fan-have all your books and tape all the shows. Thanks!
