I loved this recipe! The butter, sea salt and dill added a delicate flavor to the potatoes! Will definitely will make this again!!!!

Absolutely delicious! We all loved them, especially my 12 year old who said they were the best ever. Cooked exactly as the recipe stated. Very easy for a weeknight dinner side.

This is amazing! I happen to have fresh dill and fingerling potatoes and made these up to add to my chicken soup. Fabulous addition. I wasn't sure if dill would be good in chicken soup, but it is so wonderful. I start with roast chicken, make broth, dice celery, celery root, carrots, onions, and sweat. Then add other veg's, including tomatoes, and chopped chicken. And then these fingerling potatoes. Yummmmm.

I tried these tonight and I was so glad I did. Usually I roast red or yukon golds or combine potatoes in the oven with herbs, however these were also fantastic! I used half of a 2 lb bag of mixed baby fingerlings. The colors of white, red and purple were beautiful. I cut the salt to 1/2 tsp and I was so glad I did. You can Always increase, I found it very seasoned with just 1/2 the salt. These would go with anything!

    Thanks Ina you never fail!

Not sure what i did. But I did it exactly like she did in the video. This method didn't work for me. After 20 minutes of steaming it, the potatoes were not nearly done. So I added half a cup of water and steamed them for another 20 minutes and then they came out perfect.

After it was cooked, the potatoes buttery flavor really came out! And I am now a fan of fingerling potatoes. so good.

I have made these potatoes for years! Easy and delicious. And I've used different herbs (or none at all depending on what else I'm serving with them.

Who knew? There are different types of fingerling potatoes. So I chose the smallest ones. One constant is they all came in 2# bags (at my store anyway. I admit I haven't made this yet but intend to tonight with some ELK Backstrap. My intention is to use all 2#'s, increase the butter to 3T, adjust seasoning and dill, and increase cooking time to 30 minutes at med-low. I will report results later. Happy cooking.....
