I have made these potatoes for years! Easy and delicious. And I've used different herbs (or none at all depending on what else I'm serving with them.

Who knew? There are different types of fingerling potatoes. So I chose the smallest ones. One constant is they all came in 2# bags (at my store anyway. I admit I haven't made this yet but intend to tonight with some ELK Backstrap. My intention is to use all 2#'s, increase the butter to 3T, adjust seasoning and dill, and increase cooking time to 30 minutes at med-low. I will report results later. Happy cooking.....

This recipe is extremely easy to follow! The potatoes are delicious. For added flavor I add fresh rosemary thyme and garlic when there is approximately 10 mins of cooking remaining. My family loves them....especially with herb roasted ribeye roast!

Delicious and simple! I used home-grown fingerling potatoes with the only change being reducing the kosher salt to 1/2 t. and the dill weed to about 1 T. It took about 30 minutes to cook to perfection! I will definitely make this again!

Doesn't cook as quickly as the receipe indicates. Made them without the dill and also other herbs as well.
