I love this recipe. The only thing I do is add more lemon zest for my taste.
They are better than any I have purchased at a bakery and will use this recipe over and over. Thinking about using orange zest next time.

This is the second time I have made these.
The first time I made them I prepared them in the evening and woke up the next morning and baked them. Wonderful. Took them to work and they were still warm.
Thanks for a great recipe Ina

I read the reviews before I made this recipe, and I was a little worried that I might have a problem with the filling. But, I followed the recipe exactly as it is written, and I had no problems at all! I am always looking for easy but "gourmet-looking" dishes, and this will be one of our favorites from now on!!

and my whole family loves them. I tried a little bit of blueberry in them and they were great.

This is really outstanding. When I made this for the first time I was not sure how my guests will react, but let me tell you that this was incredible good, and everyone was asking me for more. Delicious.

These are soo good! I've made them several times and have never had any problems. I also add a little sugar glaze when they come out of the oven. They reheat well in the toaster oven for leftovers.
I have also made these with Nutella for the filling and sprinkled with powdered sugar... amazing!!!

Had a couple of New Yorkers for breakfast [and who knows more about cheese
danish?] and they loved them.
I up the lemon zest, and sprinkle the egg wash liberallywith raw sugar. Adds a nice
dimension.
Try it, Houston.

I love to bake and am preety good at it. so, I was looking forward to making this and oh boy was it a disappointment. It was not sweet and lacked any real flavor. the puff pastry came out great and had a beautiful color due to the egg wash but the filling was a major disappointment. It was so bland! I will not be making this recipe again. what a waste!
