What a party dish. Could not be better. I loved this recipe just how it is written here and will make it over and over. My husband couldn't stop bragging about me to his friends after I made this for him!

what a great dish to make when you have left over lobster and are sick of lobster sandwiches!

I made this with shrimp instead of lobster, eliminated the liqueur, used turkey kielbasa and halved the recipe - it was wonderful, full of flavor and will definitely make this for friends and family.

This got rave reviews at my house and at my office the benifactors of left overs... My rice was a bit mushy as well, next time I might try an aborio rice. We also used less liquor but I beleive it added a unique flavor and wouldn't omit.

    It's a keeper!

This is the very first time I've ever tried Paella, even though I've always wanted to. I followed to recipe exactly, except adding shrimp and using 4 cups of chicken broth - not 5. It is good, but I never knew Paella was mushy rice... I always thought it would be the dry kind. But its always fun to be trying one of Ina's recipe, she makes everything seem so fancy but fun!

This is easy to make, and very tasty. I'll be making this often (varying the seafood type occasionally to make it less costly.

The recipe was very easy and the dish was beautiful; however,we did not care at all for the strong licorice taste from the Pernod. I would leave it out or perhaps try using just a tablespoon. I also would incorporate the sausage earlier for more flavor.

This was a simple paella recipe with great flavor!!!! I used shrimp instead of lobster since I could not find lobster already cooked. My family loved it!
