Delicious! Used 1/2 the amount of lemon juice and still very lemony (which I love. Zest is what makes the difference! Love that it's so quick!

I love watching Ina. Her quiet sophistication is impossible not to notice. I live in a remote area of Colorado. I can pull fresh trout out of my backyard but can't buy fresh seafood to save my life. I made this w/Swai. Our little market didn't even have cod, nevermind sole. I cut back on the lemon juice a bit but added some lemon thyme from my garden into the butter. I also made it the way I make fried chicken, pursuing a crispy batter like coating. I added lemon pepper seasoning and a touch of granulated garlic to my flour, dredged my wet (freshly rinsed, no shaking off fillets in the flour, put them on a plate and placed them in the fridge for a few hours. This creates a glue like consistency on the outside of the fish. Frying it results in an almost tempura-like light batter coating. Followed her frying instructions and it was PHENOMENAL!

Great weeknight meal; it comes together quickly, is incredibly quick to prepare and it is ridiculously delicious for the amount of effort to prepare it! Not only a keeper, but an instant favorite. Yum!

This recipe is so simple and delicious for any night of the week. My 6-year old, who is very picky, loves this fish (minus the lemon juice. It stays on regular rotation at our house, and you can use almost any light, flaky white fish.

Great recipe! I couldn't find sole at my fish market so I replaced it with catfish but it still came out fabulous! So quick, easy, refreshing, and delicious! Is there anything Ina can't cook?

Way too much lemon for my taste and I only used 2 lemons. I will try again and only use 2 tablespoons of lemon. The fish however was flaky and moist definatly will try again!!

I made this for dinner tonight and it was wonderful! I originally saw the recipe on tv and had forgotten about it until I saw a re-run of the episode and couldn't wait to try it. Based on the reviews of the amount of lemon, I used only one lemon and a half for 2 filets; and added a 1/2 a teaspoon of garlic poweder to the flour. The fish was buttery, and flaky with just a hint of lemon, it was simply delicious!
