The only change I made was I used OJ instead of Grand Marnier (it was the only thing I didn't have on hand. The flavor was great but the problem I had was that it didn't thicken enough for me. I thought letting it sit a bit before serving would let it set more but it didn't. It was more of a strawberry syrup then a jam. I served it with the cheddar biscuits anyway and then was going to boil the leftovers some more to make a jam for later in the week but there were no leftovers to boil! So - even as a syrup instead of a jam it was a hit. I will just know next time to boil it longer (above 220.

Awesome. Just awesome. I didn't have Grand whatchecallit so I used orange rum I had on hand. Doubled the recipe. Canned. This is the second time I've made it (last time was the first time I've ever made homemade jam and it was way beyond expectations. My husband skimmed the foam off top and mixed into vanilla ice cream---turned out excellent and very strawberry tasting. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe!!

Made this jam. Super easy! Super tasty! Gave a jar to my husband to bring into office to share with everyone. Big hit! Had it with scones and cream. Yum!

The jam is super yummy and it was so easy to make! I didn't want to make a big batch so I used 2 pints (1.5lbs of strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, 1.5T orange liqueur, 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/4 granny apple. This made two jam-size jars. The recipe is a definite keeper!

Thank You Ina for a fruit jam/preserves recipe that I do not have to fret making anyone ill. Always worry for "preserving" Anything! The reminder was terrific as well, 'if keeping longer' Preserve as instructions.Being Southern, Preserving does not mean in DNA.

Absolutely awesome! Skimming the top when it was finished took me back to my childhood when my mom used to make jam and my sisters and I would get to have the foam when it was done. Thanks Ina!

I make all sorts of Strawberry Jam varieties. I have six children under the age of twelve, so the less complicated recipes are wonderful. I got this recipe from watching Barefoot Contessa on my DVR this week (my own little gift to myself each weekend. Ina - it is FABULOUS!!! Thank you so much - my ten year old son made this with me and it was so easy! We loved every minute of it, and used it on Farmer's Market Fresh Bread that we purchased this morning!
I added a hint of Orange Juice, and it was great!
