My family loves salmon. They are still talking about my salmon dinner and want to know when we can have it again. Everyone in town knows about this recipe now. Rave reviews. Excellent choice. The pasta is excellent also. used green peas instead of pods.

I absolutely love ina!! Her books, show and products....But this recipe was awful. I think the crumb topping would be fine, but the marinade was way too strong. I have all of her books and this is the first recipe that wasn't good.

I thought this was fabulous. I prepared it in advance (that morningand then cooked it for dinner. It was spicey and my guests raved. Not sure why other reviewers didn't like it. You need some odd ingredients but it was really good.

What a waste of good fish. Way too salty - 1 cup of soy sauce just has to be wrong.

I made this dish per the recipe and it resultsed the fish being almost too salty to eat. It was definitely way too salty to eat more than a couple bites. Make it with either low sodium soy sauce or cut the amount of soy sauce in half or so. Ignoring the saltness, the fish had a good taste. So with some modifications it could be a good recipe. And like some other reviewers, the panko topping turned out mushy.

I tried Ina?s salmon and it was fantastic. I think the reason why other reviewers had problems with this recipe is because of the quality of Asian ingredients they used. Just like olive oil and balsamic vinegar, you can?t expect great results if you use mediocre products with off flavors. Cheap fish sauce tends to be extremely salty and lack proper flavor profile because of the saltiness. One brand I would recommend is the ?3 Crab Fish Sauce.? It has a pink label with 3 crabs on it.

I read all the reviews first and then adapted this recipe before preparing it. I only made 1/2 the marinade recipe and then did everything else as described. It never got crispy. It was not a soggy mess, but it was not great either. I thought the ginger was way to overpowering for this dish. I think Ina's Asian Grilled Salmon recipe is way superior to this one.
