I thought this was excellent! I have made it a couple times and have enjoyed every last bite! I do want to give a hint to those folks out there who have not figured out Haas Avocado ripening yet. If they are rock hard put them with some bananas and they will be ready the next day.

I looked forward to trying this and wasn't disappointed. I made a half recipe since I am single and have some for tomorrow's lunch. I think you have to be careful to have the right blend of lemon and mustard when you arent making the recipe by the exact measurements given but I really enjoyed it.

I never really liked endive because I find it too bitter. This salad completely blew my mind. I saw Ina make this recipe on her show and I had to try it. It is absolutely delicious! The avocado is a perfect complement to the endive. The dressing is great too. My husband and I devoured the whole salad.

This is a wonderful salad - a good change from the usual various types of lettuce. I was looking for something different from Ina and loved it. As usual Ina you hit a homerun!!

Being a Florida girl, I know what a good avocado tastes like and it isn't Hass. Good Florida avocados are nutty and the other reviewer was right - Hass are hard as rocks and never ripen right. Gummy tasting to me

I absolutely had to try this after I saw Ina make this on her show. I made it for a small going away party and everyone loved it! I would recommend adding the dressing slowly, since we didn't end up using all of it. Delicious! Thank you.

I love the simplicity of this dish, and it was quite good. The only thing is that I would cut down the amount of lemon next time. It was so sour it made my fiance and I just look at each other and laugh when we would each take a bite, because of its intensity. But I love you Ina! Your recipes are great.

this salad was great and quick to make. i added tomatoes to fool my boyfriend into thinking it's "traditional" (the boy usually only eats salad if it's drowned in blue cheese dressing! salad, and the tomatoes went nicely with the crunch of the endive and the smoothness of the avocado. he's already requested i make it again!
