    I saw this and was very intrigued by all the different ingredients and wondered how it would taste.
    I was very surprised as it was delicious. I brought it to work and my co-workers really liked it and they usually don't like different things! I would make this again and not change anything.

    I saw this on tv Saturday morning and decided to add it to a buffet at a party we were throwing that night. Glad I did because it was a huge hit. I did not add the orange juice--tasting it, I thought the zest made it orange-y enough. So it probably ended up a bit less sweet. Also, perhaps I was using small figs. I ended up adding a dozen calmyrna figs instead of just eight.

    FYI...allergic to figs. Followed recipe, omitted figs...people scarfed down this dish.
    P.S. To my taste buds, scotch, gin, etc. goe very well with this recipe. Wines...red/white...no!

    This recipe was not for me. It was too sweet for my taste but then again I lean more toward savory dishes. It was interesting but I also thought it lacked the complexity that Ina raved so much about on the episode featuring this recipe. A little disappointed.

    I would make this again even though it was not a big hit at the event I took it to. Folks said it was either too sweet or the orange flavor was too much.
