This was so good! Very expensive as my grocery only had premium cuts of filet mignon however totally worth it. My beef was .77 lbs so I cooked on 500 for only 15 minutes and it was perfectly medium rare. So good my grocery also didn't have arugula so had to go with romaine. Still so good. Served with garlic parmesean mashed potatoes. Will be making this again when I can afford it!

I don't make the sandwiches but this taught me how to cook beef, I use the beef tenderloin cut. I have also tried this on just plain old roast beef and it worked extrememly well, had to cook a little longer. Ina is the best!

Personally, I thought the dressing was too strong in flavor between the mayo and bleu cheese. Next time I'll try the same thing, but with a horseradish-based dressing. Ina is still an incredible chef. Love her...

This was just as good as Ina said it would be and I have shared it with everyone that I know who likes to cook. I usually fix this on a Friday and then we eat on it all weekend. They never tire of leftovers! It is sooo good!

This takes an ordinary sandwhich and turns it into something special.
