This is a simple and tasty way to prepare fresh corn. It was a fantastic accompaniment to barbecue ribs. This is going into my regular summer rotation.

Delicious, you will not be disappointed. This is a quick and easy salad. Perfect for when basil and corn are in season. Perfect dish for pot luck--real crowd pleaser.

Delicious! I used this as a base and then made it my own. I added ripe grape tomatoes, scallions, a little red and yellow pepper and instead of basil I sniped some chives from my herb garden. I also milked the cobs- gave it a great sweetness. Love Ina- she never lets me down!

This is a perfect summer salad - light, delicious, and different. Memorize the recipe, because you'll have to give it to everyone who tastes it!

This recipe is a great way for my family to enjoy fresh corn, especially for those who have trouble eating corn on the cob.. To help beat the heat I changed the preparation a bit. Instead of boiling the corn,I cut kernals fresh from the cob, then sauteed them for 5 mins (just to get rid of any starchiness. It keeps my kitchen much cooler on a hot day. On the 4th of July, we made this along with a ham we cooked in the crock pot. What a great meal, and a great way to beat those 90 degree plus days.

I have made several of Ina's recipes all of which have been wonderful. This particular one I was asked to make twice in one week. If I had been the only one to make and taste this, I would not have written a review. I knew it was wonderful with fresh sweet corn, but I had confirmation. Members of my family have confirmed my opinion. As long as fresh corn is available this summer, I will be asked to make this saporific and simple salad over and over.

This is the perfect summer side dish! The recipe is quick and easy to make and packed with fresh flavors. I used shallots instead of red onion and added bell peppers. Thanks, Ina!

I made this for a barbecue we had and not only did everyone love it they were all asking me for the recipe! I was hoping for leftovers but not even a kernel left in the bowl. You can never go wrong with Ina's recipes, thanks again "Contessa" for another great one!

Whenever I make this I am always asked for the recipe. It's a perfect way to eat fresh corn on a hot day. Definitely a summer dish, you need the fresh corn and basil!
