A perfect summer salad. Has lots a flavor and a crowed pleaser. I used white balsamic vinegar and it tasted fabulous.

Bringing this tomorrow per request for the third year in a row to an annual picnic. It's great picnic food...seems to get even better as it sits. I some times do a mixture of half tarragon & half basil, other than that I've never changed a thing.

This salad was easy and delicious, and offers a great way to use fresh corn. I assembled my salad the day and added the fresh basil just before serving. (Definitely go for the fresh basil, not dried My guests loved it!

I was pressed for time and decided to whip this up for a quick side dish. Absolutely fantastic! The fresh basil is a definite must! I can't get over how the flavors just pop! Great recipe!

This is practically a no-fail recipe. It was delicious even though I didn't have the basil. I'll be serving this tonight with Ina's Tuscan Lemon Chicken recipe from her "Back to Basics" cook-book, which I whole-heartedly recommend. This is a beautiful book with colored pictures of each recipe and my husband has raved about every recipe I've tried from it. Ina Garten has quickly become my favorite!

When I first made this salad, I added chopped red bell pepper because I thought that it would be missing that punch of color that a picnic salad should have. And it was delicious all the same and thought I would just always make it like that, despite that I'm not a fan of peppers. The second time I made it, my company cancelled so I was able to leave the peppers out and make it as the recipe suggests and I am so glad that I did. This salad is simply fantastic just as it is and the color of the basil against the yellow corn is divine. Why I ever tried to improve an Ina Garten recipe is beyond me! I don;t know what I would do with Ina's cookbooks and recipes.

So great and simple. It is perfect the way it is, but I often add arugula instead of basil (copying the Whole Foods corn salad a bit if you've ever had it.
Goes great with grilled tri-tip or grilled marinated chicken and it's good room temp or chilled.
It is sooo easy and fast to make.

This is one of the few recipes where I make it just as it written because it is absolutely perfect. It is a summer staple at our house.

I loved this quick and easy recipe. I added some red bell pepper since it was in the fridge and this turned out fabulous with minimal, readily available ingredients. A perfect summery salad.
