Tonight I tried cutting the mango - the only fruit I had before shopping. It worked. However, I would love to see a video showing how to cut the melons and especially pineapple. One does forget after watching the show. The platter is so very appetizing, I look forward to experiementing. Please show more videos.

I've made her seafood platter for a birthday and now I'm making her fruit platter for Mother's Day. Ina wins hands down in presentation and her dishes ALWAYS impress my very picky mother-in-law. For someone who doesnt like any cooking but her own, she often cleans her plate when i make her something from Ina.

Crowd pleasing and they look like store bought. A+++

Thank you for this quick and easy way to prepare and display the melon and pineapple. Hard to find this anywhere. And the photos are great!

After planning a party for my children's 18th birthdays, I thought, instead of buying one of those fruit/cheese trays from the grocery store, I would make one of these. After watching the episode this fruit tray was on, I listened to Ina's hints on how to make it great and off to Central Market I went.
I made two trays and bought some lemon leaves from the market for 50 cents each and the fruit was GONE. I put two kinds of melon, pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, green and red grapes and mango. What a wonderful thing to do. The fruit was fresh, delicious and SO appealing to the eye.

I haven't had any occasion to make this platter yet. Looks simple, and the presentation looks delightful. I am looking forward on making this platter in the near future.
