Normally Ina's recipes are tried and true for me, so I did not try this one ahead of time when we were expecting company. Big mistake. Everyone found the topping to be bland, I tried adding more honey to sweeten it up, but honestly I have bought vanilla yogurt that tasted better. We will not be making this again.

I just love this recipe. I've changed the fruit around as I'm allergic to strawberries, and I added some orange zest to the yogurt for color and flavor, and everytime I make it, I love it a little more.

This is a really refreshing dessert for the summer. I liked this topping as an alternative to the heavy cream cheese topping I have always made in the past.

I have been doing this recipe for years. I use a good quality vanilla yogurt, add a little extra real vanilla extract and honey to taste. I have also made this with strawberry yogurt, minus the vanilla for a delicious topping over fresh strawberries and you can do the same with a mix and match with other fruits and yogurt toppings. Like the one woman who reviewed, I also use granola on top for an added crunch that takes it over the top. Enjoy!

I made this recipe last year for Christmas morning using vanilla flavored yogurt instead of plain yogurt and it made all the difference in the world!! It was very flavorful and the entire fruit salad was devoured by my family in one sitting. Plus it got rave reviews from my in-laws!!

I have been making this for years. I do top it off with some good granola for a little crunch. This is my favorite breakfast!

I made this recipe but didn't add the vanilla seeds. Too hard to get in my rural area. We found this recipe to be excellent. However, it must be eaten right away as the fruit does not keep well. There was alot of sauce for this recipe, as well. A very good healthy snack or appetizer.

I really like Ina's recipes and this is overall, no exception. I made it as directed, and agree with the other comment, it was bland, so I added 2T Splenda as well. I didn't use the vanilla bean but a GOOD pure vanilla extract. I used raspberries, strawberries and mandarin oranges for fruit. I LOVED IT! And will have it again soon.
