Yummy! Will definitely make again. I'm not a huge fan of mint, but it complimented this dish nicely. I used sour cream instead of creme fresh. Served it with a roasted beet salad and crusty bread.

I have made this soup for the last two Easter Sundays and my family always asks for it. It is easy, (frozen peas for me and so delicious. I ate the leftovers for lunch for a couple of days. I tippled the recipe because of the amount of people for dinner but it didn't hurt the recipe one bit! Thanks Ina!

This soup is absolutely delicious and so easy to make - I used frozen peas. I just love it when recipes work out that way.

One of the top 5 soups I've had!! Loved, loved, loved it! So perfect for this time of year to have a warm meal that is light and healthy to make up for all of the heavy holiday meals. Also - it was done in less than 30 minutes! Can't beat that! Thanks Ina! (BTW... I only put in 2 Tbsp of mint.

I would highly recommend adding rosemary to pea soup, like in this recipe: http://www.pearecipe.com/pea-soup-recipes/split-pea-soup-recipe-with-rosemary/ ... it really enhances the overall flavor!

I made this soup yesterday for my huband as he is on a very strict diet...He is also a finicky eater. We both loved it and were stunned that the flavours were perfectly blended together. Instead of Creme Fresh which I could not find I added a bit of 10% cream. Thank you so much for a delicious fast and easy receipe ...

Easy vegan substitutions: Smart Balance for the butter, Veg broth for chicken, and vegan sour cream for the creme fraiche. Amazing and easy!

This soup was so easy to make and so heavenly delicious. I substituted the regular butter with Ghee (Indian clarified butter. I also didn't have mint in the house, so substituted it with basil. It came out so good, that my cat (who never eats any vegetables begged for it. I put it on her plate and she licked the plate clean! I am inviting my mom now to impress her with my soup. Thank you, Ina. You are brilliant.

This was so easy, took very little time, and was delicious. I used olive oil to cook the leeks and onions and instead of creme fraiche I used non-fat plain yogurt which was great as well.
