This tasted wonderful and fresh but it was fairly runny. Came out more like a dessert topping than a jam, still good though.

I just prepared a batch of this fresh strawberry jam, and found this to be less sweet and a little more pucker then most jam/jelly recipes. It was a nice change, but I wouldn't make this my favorite jam recipe.

I can't believe how good this turned out! I almost doubled the amount of strawberries but I still only used one lemon. I used 2 1/2 cups of sugar and I boiled it longer than required. The texture and the taste came out perfectly! Thanks Ina!

This Strawberry Jam was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! However I did make a few changes based on other reviews. I reduced the sugar to one and a half cups instead of two and I cooked the strawberry mixture about 40 mins instead of 20 mins. Thanks Ina again for a great receipe.

Super easy to make, and with higher heat and a longer boiling time, it set up nicely. The zest is a nice addition. The finished product, however, I found too sweet. I will try it again with half the sugar, and may add some blackberries to add tartness. Definitely a worthwhile recipe though.

I thought that it was really great and creative what she did to make those things.

This jam tasted very good, and was also wonderful over Ice Cream and other deserts, and very easy to make.
    Thanks

I saw this episode and was inspired to give it a try. I didn't have any lemons, so I used lime and it worked out great! I'm not sure how well it's going to jell yet as I just popped mine into the fridge, but so far so good. I also pureed mine up a bit with and immersion blender so it wouldn't be so chunky. Thanks Ina!! :
