I used 2 pints of strawberries and 1 1/2 cups of sugar and it came out wonderuflly. I also cooked it at a higher heat for about 40 minutes, not 20. Very sweet yet refreshing.

Simple enough but it never jelled. I was able to poor it once cooled over vanilla ice cream and enjoy it for dessert.

I never knew making jam could be so easy! I used the 1&1/2cups of sugar that Ina mentioned on the program instead of the 2cups listed in the recipe. I also had to cook for longer than indicated and at a higher heat, but had great results! So good & so easy!! Thanks Ina!!!

I just saw this on tv, and went right into the kitchen! I used meyer lemon, which gave it a uniqe flavor. I did cook this a bit longer, and harder than the recipe indicated. I didn't feel that it jelled enough at the low slow cooking, so I upped the heat and cooked it until it jelled nicely on a chilled saucer. REally fresh flavor, made 2 little jars, one to east and one to give to a special someon on Valentine's day tomorrow!!!
