The first time I made this I used Makers Mark instead of Jack Daniels. I should have stuck with Makers Mark as the end product was much better.

These are the best whiskey sours we have had. Everyone I make them for really loves them whether they are whiskey drinkers or not. We like to use Makers Mark bourbon for these.

Wow what a great drink! My suggestion, use Crown Royal. Came out perfect for football Sunday. Thanks again Ina! Delicious, I would love to serve these at a cocktail party.

I love mixed drinks, but have had bad experiences with whisky sours in the past. They're always too sour and syrupy and I end up with a stomach ache. This drink is absolutely perfect. Not too sweet or sour and the whisky is tasty and perfect!! Love it :

I'm not a big mixed drink guy. I prefer my whiskey straight. But this drink bowled me over and everyone else at the BBQ where I served it. It's not too sweet but the fresh fruit juices just make the whiskey sing, even for those who say they don't like the taste of whiskey. The women, especially, went nuts for this drink. I couldn't make new pitchers fast enough. Be sure to make it without ice so it won't get watered down until you serve it because you're going to need a big batch.

These were a huge hit at our 4th of July party yesterday! I multiplied the recipe times 5 and we completely ran out-they couldn't get enough! It is a little time consuming to juice that many lemon and limes for a big batch, but it was totally worth it.

Agreed, this was a complete hit at my house - and we're not big whiskey drinkers. Great blend of fresh ingredients, etc. totally hit the spot with a whole crowd. Only downside, I was squeezing lemons and limes forever! Hahaha Definitely try this recipe!

Will never use sour mix again! Thought it was going to be too sweet/sour for the amount of whiskey used but it is absolutely perfect. Think this will be my summer cocktail.
