We made whisky sours for a large group of friends and it was a hit. Everyone loved it and this isn't a drink for sissies either. The perfect combination of sour, sweet and alcohol.

I wrote out this recipe and my husband and son made them for me on Mother's Day. I hadn't had a great Whiskey Sour in years! Thank you.

My husband I love this recipe. It is one of our favorite drinks. Great sweet/sour taste. I would not change this recipe. Love the tartness. We make a batch of simple syrup, squeeze a bunch of limes/lemons and enjoy all week long. Thank you Ina!

I rarely comment unless I really like something..and these are on the top of my list for recipes I have found on here, food or drink! These are so incredibly good. I add 1 orange just because I love orange juice and I think it adds to it, but either way its a killer recipe and anyone who doesn't like whiskey or whiskey sours is in for a special treat! I don't like whiskey unless it is in these! These are a keeper and party pleaser for sure!

I remember my Mom making whiskey sours (and I'd grab a taste when I was in high school. These are in no way related to those pre-packaged whiskey sours of old. These are fresh and delicious. I didn't think it was too sour and I followed the recipe exactly. I could get addicted to these!

This is my husband's favorite "special" drink. I fix this for him when he needs a "treat"! A great special drink for a party. Really impresses!

This cocktail is DELICIOUS!! I will make this drink again and again! It's not too sour either. It's just right. Instead of a simple syrup I added Agave Nectar. Perfect drink for my palate!

I was given this recipe and gave it a try even though I can remember back to bitter whiskey sour days - made from a powdered mix I think. These drinks are unbelievable fresh, really delicious and I did feel like I got a boost of vitamin C from the summery citrus flavor. I am planning to serve over the Christmas Holiday so no need to worry that they are too "summer-y" tasting. Just great!

I saw this a few months back, and have been making them weekly. I did add more sugar. Still a little tarted, I will add orange juice next time and see if that is better.

After reading the reviews I was so determined to make these that I went right out to buy limes! I was not disappointed. They are tart and potent glassfuls of YUM!
