....taste like. No more of that yucky pre-mixed stuff for us!

These turn out like a really tart margarita--not like a whiskey sour.

Love your show! When I watched this one, it reminded me of my favorite drink back in the late 50's, so I tried your recipe. Absolutely spectacular and delicious. I have been making them ever since. Thank you sooooo much for my trip to the past. Of course, I'll never even drink them without fresh lemons and limes.

We made these drinks after returning to our house from a day at the beach, each day. They tasted so good, and were so easy to make.

I have them before made with bottled bitters, but I loved this recipe which I have served to dinner guest.
    Thanks

    MAKES A GREAT WHISKEY SOUR!!

YOU CAN ALSO SUBSTITUTE TEQUILA FOR THE WHISKEY, ADD TRIPLE SEC AND A SPLASH OF (GOOD BEER FOR THE BEST MARGUERITA YOU'VE EVER HAD.

In response to the "delicious...but spelling" on 7/16/06, whiskey can be spelled with the e or without (it's more common with the e,it is not an incorrect spelling without. FYI.

Now onto the drink! Someone else said it doesn't have that bitter aftertaste as the store sour mix does. And that it what makes it taste fresh and wonderful!
