This garlic bread is luscious- the combination of butter and olive oil makes it a hearty indulgence. Great for entertaining guests. Be careful when heating the oil and herbs- it can be dangerous!

By far, this is the best garlic bread I've ever had! I substituted a few ingredients as I only had curled parlsey and they were out of ciabatta bread at the grocery store. So I used a portugese bread which looked similar. Even with the minor substitutions, this was a truly phenomenal, flavorful treat! Extremely easy to make! I was a little worried that six cloves of garlic would be overpowering...not at all! This was completely perfect!!! Enjoy!

This was rated "best garlic bread ever" by my family. I used yogurt butter to offset all the oil-turned out fantastic.

Now, my husband and I can spice up the plain Olive Oil Ciabatta that our supermarket carries and make it even tastier! Thank you, Ina!

The few times I have made garlic bread I generally used garlic salt, butter and possibly some parsley. Ina's recipe was awesome. We cooked it on the grill and I could have made a meal just from the bread. A definite 'keeper' recipe. Now I want to try the meatballs.
