I have never really liked Spinach, but this recipe changed that! I did not need 6 servings, so I cut the spinach and forgot to cut the lemon, so it was a bit tangy. Even with the extra lemon it was great. I also added some toasted pine nuts, which added a nice texture and extra taste.

My husband has said " I don't like spinach" Well he loved this, and all of it was gone after supper! Actually everyone loved it.
I did fix according to our tastes, I added a slivered up red onion, mushrooms and toasted almonds, that I had cooked before adding the spinach ! Even our youngest granddaughter loved it. Thanks Ina! I would have never thought spinach could be soooo good! I had never fixed it this way, and now will probably not fix it any other way!

I used minced garlic in refrigerated section. We loved it. Husband wanted to know if that was all of it. He wanted more.

Not sure who came up with this recipe but they should be forced to eat it every day of the year as punishment! The SALT that it calls for made us gag! We had to throw it out. No clue how most of you can say it was yummy because it was disgusting! If you make it, forget the salt amount it calls for. Go with a pinch or two.

I used frozen chopped spinach, and used measuring spoons for the salt. It's a scrumptous meal, but also has a little more salt than I would prefer. I did overlook the fact that my frozen spinach contained 1/4 tspn sodium, already, so I might be slightly over the indicated amount of salt.

great recipe! searched everywhere for a decent one and voila.
except I wanted to eat this with rice, so i roasted some almonds with the garlic and added oyster sauce after putting in the spinach, it turned out exactly as I wanted!

    Thank you.
