This is the best salad dressing ever! So quick and easy and full of flavor. The champagne vinegar and the egg yolk make this dressing delicious so don't leave it out! this is my go to vinaigrette now, and it never disappoints. I highly recommend this recipe!

Wonderful...creamy, delicious and fast. I used my immersion blender and it makes it so creamy. Also I made a batch with the vinegar and then a batch with all lemon juice...and I think I prefer it with lemon juice. Yum.....Ina is my favorite chef of all time...

My new favorite salad dressing. Perfect for spring mix. I have used the egg yolk both times I made it (Eggland's Best. Makes me nervous, but when I think about all of the raw cookie dough I have eaten in my lifetime and never gotten sick....

This is by far the best vinaigrete I've ever tasted! Follow it exact and you won't go wrong. I did use a raw egg yolk especially because my eggs are right out of the nest of my chickens. You can't get fresher than that. Make it in a small mason jar and stored it in the frig if you have extra. It keeps a while. Love it so much I can drink it!

Great, but it needs just a little more vinegar, or add in a bit of fresh lemon juice, or both... as the tang was too mild. Also, use a tablespoon of mayo if you don't want to use a raw egg. It'll give it a creamy texture. Very good!

I love this recipe! I made a few changes to the vinaigrette according to the ingredients I had at hand. I changed the salad completely though... I used Romaine lettuce, cherry tomato halves, raisins, and walnuts. Delish!

Ina has done it again! I just love this easy, simple vinaigrette! I followed the receipe exact, and, I will be making this again! I was lucky enough to have a head of leaf lettuce from my spring garden and made this delicious dressing for it. It just doesn't get any fresher than that. Going and picking your lettuce, then topping it with a fresh simple easy delcious receipe like this! Thanks again!

This was really fantastic! I used the egg, and the champagne vinegar but added a bit more mustard because I was making this to go with baby field greens, roasted red beets and a bit of crumbled goat cheese. I wanted more mustard flavor so I added some whole grain mustard (about a half teaspoon and it was amazing against the sweetness of the roasted beets, the creaminess of the goat cheese and bitterness of the field greens! Good stuff!!

This is amazing Ina!! I made it without the egg, and used white wine vinegar instead, since that's what I had, and it is excellent!! I would rate it a 10 if I could!lol

Surprisingly, we thought this dressing was a bit blah. Didn't add the egg, but other than that, followed the recipe.

We are huge fans of simple homemade dressings (don't like bottled at all! and thought this one would be great. We were disappointed.

I will make it again to see if we feel any differently.
