I have tried many pizza dough recipes. This is the best. My family and I have Friday pizza night each week. Often it is homemade---and that is the night my son's friends appear out of no where. They all agree this crust tastes great, rolls out very nice, and responds well to grill, oven, stone or cookie sheet. We just have to be careful with the cheese, too much makes the center too wet.

Simplicity at its best! So much room for improvising toppings.

This was so much fun to make and the pizzas turned out great! It would be fun to make for a dinner party--prepare the dough before, prepare a bunch of toppings, then let guests top their pizzas as they like.

I have been searching for the perfect homeade pizze crust and found it with this recipe. I should have known that Ina wouldn't let me down. The finished prodcut is tender, not crumbly or dry. Making it could not be more simple and it is easy to worth with (stretch, roll, place on baking stone or grill, etc. It has a touch of sweetness and a light, chewy texture. Add some herbs for a different flavor. Simply the best.

I have made pizza dough before using my breadmaker which always came out great. Takes about 2.5 hrs. So I tried Ina's dough recipe using the mixer to save some time. I followed every detail of the recipe. Dough was falling apart and difficult to knead. I made the pizza in the oven since it was raining that day. Put the toppings and sauce on and baked at 400 degrees for 20 min. The edge crust barely rose and bottom crust very dry and tasteless. I wouldn't recommend this method of pizza dough making unless you're really in a pinch for time. Probably a fun recipe for kids.

This turned out great. If you're wondering if you should make this- the answer is yes, yes, yes!! I'd also like to add that I for one love T.R.!! I appreciate that Ina actually invites us into her home and life each episode. You'd never see my house if I had a cooking show-LOL!

My husband and I had so much fun making these! I can imagine that kids would love it as well, or company. We baked in the oven because it was just too cold outside for the grill. The crust was perfect!! :
Thank you Ina!
