OMG - too much salt. I have hypertension and have to watch this. The salt stung my throat as if I had swallowed a big gulp of ocean water. Only marinated for 2 hours. Most likely will half or omit salt if I make again. Did anyone else have this problem???

This was so good and super easy.....the lemon and Dijon made it very flavorful....I will be making this again and often.

I dont often write a review but every once in a while you come across a recipe that really deserves it. I have tried many marinades for shrimp and nothing ever really stood out. This is by far THE BEST marinade and it was simple to prepare. My husband thought it was out of this world and we're making it again just a few days later. I've thought about even using it on steak. I served the shrimp over salad with homemade dijon dressing. It was so full of flavor. Tomorrow we are having it over Ina's Orzo salad. This is my goto marinade for sure. LOVED IT!

I have been making this recipe for years. One of my first from her books. Always a hit and extremely flavorful. I actually have never bothered to make the mango salsa that is in the book as the shrimp are fantastic alone. Great on the grill inside our out. Really excellent!

Excellent recipe for grilled shrimp. Followed the recipe and cooked it over a charcoal fire. Served with mango salsa (Ina Garten on this website and lettuce leaves. My husband and son were in shrimp heaven.

I marinated the shrimp all day. It was wonderful but too salty to me. Will cut down salt next time. I think that the saltiness is amplified the longer it marinates because the first time I made this, I only marinated for an hour and it wasn't too salty to me but this time it was. Overall a fabulous recipe. I served it over spaghetti with garlic and olive oil.

This recipe is awesome. I put all ingredients in the food processor to mince and then mix it together with shrimp and let it marinate. I also made mango salsa (from the book and they came beautifully together. Definitely recommend!

It is so versatile!I have also been making this recipe for many years since I first saw it on Martha Stewart's show. Ha!I just remembered that I didn't even have a computer in my home at that time and I had to handwrite the recipe from the TV show. That was another life. Back to the recipe review. No matter how I serve it, it is always a hit. I have served it with the mango salso in the recipe, with Trader Joe's mango salsa, the filling for shimp enchiladas with green sauce, and shrimp tacos. Perfect for a million uses!

Tried these shrimp last night and they were absolutely wondeful! It was right at 100 degrees outside so instead of firing up the grill for a 3 minute cook I just got a nonstick skillet hot and pan grilled them inside. I did a minute and a half on each side and they came out perfectly. My husband and I are both shrimp lovers and we agree that it will not be very long at all before we fix these again. Quick, easy and oh so wonderful. Thanks Ina, this one's a keeper for sure.
