Seriously, this is the best shrimp on the planet! I marinated it for 2 days and the flavors were amazing. I'm usually all about sauce with my shrimp but this doesn't need anything at all. This has become my new favorite go-to recipe!

I made this recipe for my son's graduation party. I marinated the shrimp overnight, grilled them on the skewers, and served them cold. They were awesome to say the least. As soon as the platter hit the table, they were gone. I think 10 people asked me for the recipe. Thanks, Ina!!

I made this recipe for a dinner party I had. I have to admit I was a bit leary about marinating shellfish for so long of a time. It turned out great. The flavor is incredible and it is now the only way I make grilled shrimp. Great recipe!

Leave it to Ina Garten to have such a simple marinade that is unbelievable delicious. This was incredible. I marinated it overnight and then grilled it. It was delicious. I cannot think of anything to change in this recipe. It is THAT good.

I tasted the marinade before adding the shrimp, and it was not good. It was too salty and didn't have much flavor. They marinated for 2 days, and then I cooked them on the grill. They were delicious! Not too salty, and perfect flavoring!

Fantastic recipe. This was such a huge hit at my party. I made 4 pounds and it was all gone in 5 minutes! I marinated the shrimp in the sauce for 2 days, I think that made a difference. I also put 3 spoons of the marinade with a stick of butter and microwaved it; it made a great dipping sauce! Some reviewers seemed to have felt the salt was too much. But I used what the recipe called for and it was "well seasoned" as the FN chefs would say. I will be making this recipe again and again, I'm so glad I found this. Thanks Ina!

I made this last night and it was so good. My boyfriend and I loved it so much. I didn't have any fresh herbs so I used 5 TBS of parsley and 5 TBS of basil (I would have put some more, but I ran out of them. I skewed the shrimps with bell pepper, tomato, mushroom, and onion and marinade them for 30 min and grill them about 3 min each side over medium heat.

This is an excellent marinade. My family loves it. The leftover shrimp tasted even better cold the next day and can be used as a cold appetizer or hors d'oeuvres. Also works for chicken kabobs. Cut the salt (at leastin half however. Original recipe is much too salty.
