Saw this on TV and knew I had to make it. Was lucky that a friend of mine had caught some blue fin tuna, so I used that. Recipe was fantastic - I used Orowheat Sandwich Thins instead of rolls - perfect! Itsy bit sweet but low on calorie and carbs and thin so the tuna was really the star and not the bread. Would absolutely make this again!!! Super easy and the flavors were great! I added a bit bit more hot sauce and a little more salt and pepper. Used the 2T of lemon juice as recommended. Can't wait to make this for friends and family! Next time will serve with a grilled artichoke. Oh I also grilled the buns and added some tomato to the "salad".

I made this for lunch and had plenty of leftovers and decided to take it to a football party that night. I served it with tortilla chips and everyone loved it. It was the most popular dish. I enjoyed it but for my tastes I would reduce the salt and increase the wasabi, I'm a wasabi freak :-

This turned out great!! The leftovers the next day were just as good! I only used 1 t. salt and it was plenty. When making again, I would cut the lime juice to 2 T. ...it was a big tangy for my taste. Great recipe and I will definitely make again!

I made this for dinner tonight after drooling the entire time Ina was preparing it on her show yesterday. Too bad I'm the only one in the family who likes avocado and onions...guess it is a good thing I'm on my own for dinner tonight! Anyway, I forgot to add the tabasco, but I don't think I missed it. I agree with the poster who said they should have measured the 3 tablespoons of lime juice...I did two limes, but it was a bit tart. I'll measure next time! I used hoagie rolls from the grocery bake shop, and since the arugula that I got looked kind of anemic I decided to mix it with a little baby spinach/spring mix blend. I don't like arugula that much anyway, but the peppery bite did go nicely with the rest of the dish. I plan to take the rest to work to share with the girls, maybe I'll use a pita with my green mixture tomorrow! So, this is definitely a keeper in my house!

I live in Hawaii and have easy access to fresh ahi. This is a great recipe and very adaptable to personal tastes. Ina's recipes are always wonderful, and I enjoy her as a Foodnetwork host.

Why do you people all feed into the baiting of an obviously bigoted person? Do not allow her negative need for attention to distract from the conversation here. I bet she doesn't even know how to poach an egg.

This is about Ina and her love of cooking and sharing of her expertise with us.

I did not have limes this time so I made it with lemon and it was just delicous. Ina never lets me down. I've made so many of her recipes and every one has been wonderful. Thanks Ina!

This recipe is amazing! I love it. I made it the first time for a tailgate party and it worked out wonderful. My theme, East Hampton Tailgate, Ina style! :
Julia, I am a 30 year old man, and my BOYFRIEND loves when I make him this for dinner. We think it is simply FABULOUS!

We loved this! It was healthy, light- yet filling, and just absolutely delicious. It's even better if you let it sit in the fridge over night and eat it the next day.

I made this last night for dinner. We didn't have it on the rolls, but as a salad instead. I could hardly wait to eat it! If you love these flavor profiles then make it! It's super easy and so so so good!!
