This is the best Guacamole recipe and one I will make again and again. Love the texture and the seasonings. We, like Ina, do not care for cilantro.

I've been making guacamole for years by just throwing things together and tasting & altering, but was trying to provide my daughter a good recipe she could follow. I think the biggest thing missing was the cumin. Without that smoky flavor that brings out the nuttiness of the Hass avocados it felt flat. I also substituted lime for the lemon as that is more commonly available in Latin America. It's a good base, but the tweaks made it taste more like Mexico.

Very similar to the guac I make. I halve the avodaco and cross-cut in the skin, then scoop it out with a spoon. Seems easier than cutting it in the bowl with a knife.

Great recipe, easy to prepare, just add the add sauce at the end for taste. The first time I had to add some sour cream to cup the HEAT. I have saved this recipe for future use.

This is the best Guacamole I have had or made. I use a Tabasco combo of 4 dashes of the smoked chipotle and 4 of the jalapeno.
