Wonderful- added a squeeze of lime in addition to the lemon and, like some others, chopped fresh cilantro. EVERYONE at my open house commented on hope good it was!!

This has been my "go to" recipe for guacamole for years! It rocks, Ina! The lemon gives it a much better flavor than lime...who would have thought...and feel free to add what ever you like! The jalapeno idea is a good one...I will try that! The way she mixes the avocado is muy importante! I've tried zillions of guac recipes and this is by far the best! Enjoy!

Just the basics on this recipe and that's all you need! Great pop of flavors and I really enjoyed the lemon juice. Normally I make with lime juice but the lemon juice gives a great burst of fresh flavor. This recipe makes it to my deck parties! Thanks Ina!

I did not enjoy the Tabasco in this recipe. Fresh jalapeno, for me, would be a much better choice.

I loved this recipe, I thought the hot sauce would be to much i don't care for hot, or spicy foods, but it gave it just the right touch.

Used sweet onions instead of red and had no tomatoes, used a bit more garlic as well. Was amazing, and is similar to my Dad's secret recipe for guacamole.

Won my family taste test. We even made this one on vacation. Nothing compares! It's wonderful! You nailed it again, Ina!

This is the real deal guac. I add freshly chopped cilantro from my herb garden, and serve it with a pretty mix of blue corn chips as well as regular corn chips. A hit every time!
