I prepared this dish and used smoked turkey breast instead of the ham. This was a luncheon treat for two ladies that I work with. They simply loved it. Thanks for the recipe Ms. Garten.

Can this lady cook or what? Dear God! I tried this recipe out a BBQ we hosted here yesterday as a appetizer This was the first time I made it, no rehearsal. It was awesome. I made 2 and was told I should have made 4...they turned out great and everyone loved it, including me. What a great lunch or appetizer. I have made so many of Ina's recipes with rave reviews...thank you Ina and keep them coming you are the BEST!

I have made these two times. Once for a baby shower where I cut them in small squares and they were gone quickly and everyone raved about them. The second time I also cut them into small squares and brought them to a house warming party within 5 minutues they were all gone and I had doubled the recipe. Such an easy lunch or appetizer.

I made these "Monte Cristo" style. I used the ham and cheese with some apricot jam...then cut them into squares and dusted with powdered sugar. I served them alongside a cheesy hash brown casserole to a group of breakfast guests. It was such an elegant and impressive presentation with very little actual work! I cannot believe how much my cooking skills have improved since watching Food Network...its like getting a culinary school education slowly infused into my head. I just can't thank Food Network and their wonderful chefs enough for the wonderful recipes and techniques that they so freely share! No more boxed Hamburger Helper and nasty take out food at this house!

My daughter told me she made this recipe and her hubby told her to put this one on "the list". So I made it for my hubby and WOW. It was a hit... Thanks Ina

I accidently bought only half of the puff pastry required for this recipe, rolled it out a bit more, and packed it with the same amount of ham and cheese hoping for the best. I used a creamy dijon and served to 7, it was still enough for a party snack. They raved. Thank you Ina for such a crowd-pleaser!

I've made this several times, but just used shredded cheddar. I've made it with mayo but what we prefer is, the Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Chives. I've also made it with just cream cheese. Turns out good. You can also cut this recipe in half. After rolling out one sheet, just cut it in half when you want to make a smaller amount. And of course, halve all the other ingredients.

Pretty simple to make. It's a home made version of a ham and cheese croissant. I was a little surprised how expensive puff pastry was. I don't think it has a wow factor in it, but it is good to snack on.

I have not tried this recipe as yet, but I am sure it will be delicious. I just had to write to help reviewers find recipes. At the very top (in the middle of the Food Network web site is a "Enter Search Term Box". Just type in what you are looking for an then hit the word "Search" located in the red box to the right. You will then get a whole list of items in that category. If you type in just "Puff Pastry" for example, you will get a list of about 410 items for Puff Pastry. This recipe is Number 11 on that list. If you like Pesto Sauce (and even if you don't you will love The Neeley's Caprese Tart. It is delicious and even my husband, who is not a fan of Pesto Sauce, loves this. Hope this helps. Bon Appetite !!!!!
