This has to be one of the easiest and most delicious appetizers I've ever made! Everyone was soooo impressed at how pretty it is when you take it out of the oven. Totally wonderful and truly impressive! Way to go Ina! It was a hit of the New Year's Party!

I loved this receipe, it was so easy, Made it for a Christmas
party and everyone wanted the receipe. I used at tavern ham
and sliced cheeses and it turned out great. I am going to try
it with corned beef, cheese and sauerkraut like a rueben.
Will see how that works. I also agree about the site, it was
much better the way it was and easier to use. Never can understand
why people have to change something that works.

I made this along with other appetizers for Christmas Eve and this was by far the biggest hit. I will not hesitate to make this again!

I used provolone with the black forest ham. Very tasty and simple. Well liked at the party!

served this for xmas morning breakfast with leftover ham and cheeses from the night before and everyone devoured it! it was a great way for me to use up leftover cheeses from the cheese platter i had out for a party the night before. i used a gruyere, a hard cheese with truffles, and some manchego. i seperated the cheeses into sections to see which ones would taste the best and they were all rated very high from my guests. will make this one again and again,..for breakfast, snack, appetizers for potluck and brunches too!

I made this as a Christmas appetizer and it got rave reviews ... there were a lot of other snacks out on the table but this was the first to disappear. Everyone wanted to know how I made it and they were blown away by its simplicity ... I think that this is an awesome base for other things ... different meats, cheeses and condiments ... I'll be making this quite often, thanks for the recipe

I made three of these for a cocktail party that I hosted for 17 people and every bite was eaten. I had several people ask for the recipe. This one is officially on my 'Favorites' list. A little pricey though, about $15 each, you may try experimenting with the cheeses if you're looking to lower the cost; however, the gruyere was fantastic.

I love this recipe, but then again I have found very few of hers that have not been wonderful. But, I too agree about the new web site. Usually when you change something it is for the better, but this one is horrible. I did contact them when it first was changed, but obviously it didn't change a thing! When something works, just leave it be!!!!!
