after reading a few other reviews, i decided to give this recipe a try....
i've NEVER made truffles before but i have seen many episodes and videos, so figured i'd give it a shot for some yummy treats for my single girl friends for v day!
i decided to make 4 different kinds.... and noticed that many recipes call for 8oz of chocolate rather then 7oz as ina's does.... so i used 8oz instead....... 7oz semi sweet and 1oz un sweet to be exact.
turned out perfect for me....
i covered/dipped in chocolate then sprinkled with hazelnuts.... perfect :

Runny - did not turn into a truffle. What a waste of time and money.

Absolutely delicious! I didn't have consistency problems. I didn't even let them set yet - looked too good not to eat! I don't know how she got 20 truffles from that batch. I only got 15.

I just made these last night and they are delicious and beautiful. They were simple to make and the consistency turned out nicely after the cooling time in the fridge. I used all semi-sweet chocolate because I like my desserts sweet. I will definitely be adding these to the holiday repertoire.

These are so easy you can make them in your sleep and eat them sleeping or awake lol... such a simple way to make a truffle and if you are smart enough to imagine different things in them you can create almost anything.... infinite opportunities....

These were very easy to make. They came out just perfect. I did mix the coco powder with 10x, My two taste tester thought it was to bitter for their liking but loved the center.

I tried this recipe to a T two times. I thought the first time that maybe I had measured something wrong because, like others, it was runny. It was still runny after the second time, but because of the cost, I figured I had to use it some how, and found that it is amazing in coffee!!!
