So delicious. This is the bread everyone requests. Use a sourdough large baguette...not the long skinny one. Recipe is wonderful as written but I sprinkle some grated parmesan and a little dried oregano or Italian seasonings too. Outside is nice and crusty and inside so flavorful! Spoon all of it into the bread...it's not too much. Absolutely deelish! I can't believe more people haven't rated!

This bread is delicious! I make it almost every time I serve a pasta dish. The flavors are great combined and I've received nothing but compliments over this recipe!

This one was right up my alley. The fresh tang of the parsley coupled with the sweetness of the garlic and then the salt to finish!! I get it and it was FABULOUS!

Added bonus: Much easier to make than traditional garlic bread.

I'll be serving this one a few times a month.

I liked it - but I like my bread with butter not oil. Just my personal preference.
I used quality olive oil and a french loaf from the bakery along with fresh herbs from our garden. Im glad I tried it but probably wont use this method again.

I felt this recipe had too much parsley and oregano. Other than that, it was a decent garlic bread. This is probably my least favorite Ina Garten recipe. She usually gets 5 stars from me.

bf claimed it to be the best garlic bread ever. I cut back the salt in half. it was very tasty and just the right amount of garlic.

I made this for a family dinner to go with canneloni and it was so, so, so good. My dad asked "did you buy this somewhere or what did you stick on this bread!?" No one had a chance to go for a second piece because he had devoured about 3/4 of the bagette before he even touched his canneloni.

This was very good and easy. However, it was too salty!! Next time I'm going to only add a dash of salt.
