Perfect, nice compliment to a lot of our dishes, we use fresh herbs from our garden almost everyday. My husband loves this fresh twist on classic garlic bread as much as I do. Thanks Ina!

My friend and I made this recipe on a whole grain baguette. And it tasted amazing except that since the roll may have been smaller than the recipe required, the amount of salt was a little overwhelming. Other than that it was a success. Especially with the whole grain roll!

I used this on onion rolls for hamburgers. What a great combination. I will use this again and again. I served this at a barbeque and everone loved it. Forget the ketsup and mustard.

I try not to experiment on guests, but Ina has never failed me so I gave this a shot at my last dinner party. It was absolutely wonderful. Ina is the best. I do agree it was just a bit too salty. I used rosemary instead of basil, and that was good.

This bread is so impressive and delicious. It is very easy to prepare. I made a double batch for two loaves for a dinner party and everyone loved it. Finally, a great new twist on a classic great recipe. This is a must at your next dinner. You won't be sorry.

I thought my garlic bread was the standard in my house but now I have another made often favorite. My guests rave over this every time, however, they do comment on the saltiness of it. I've cut down on the salt and complaint remains so I make sure Kosher salt is well dissolved in oil. Maybe it has to do with how its spooned into bread...more salt in one area than another. Love the garlicky-ness of this recipe along with the fresh herbs.

This was excellent. My only complaint was that it was a bit too salty. We will probably add half the suggusted salt next time. Still, this is a great recipie.
