I made this last night and with only 3 hours of marinate time, it was still excellent. Very healthy and tastes great. I served with baked sweet potatoes and sauteed spinich with garlic. This will become a regular weeknite meal.

This was a very easy recipe and tasted great. I made a few modifications to turn it into a complete meal.

I preheated the oven to 400 degrees and roasted cut up celery, a yellow onion, red potatoes, and whole baby carrots tossed in olive oil, salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, I patted my marinated tenderloin dry, wiping off the garlic so it wouldn't burn, and seared it.

Finally, I removed my veggies from the oven and pushed them aside to make room for the pork. I then returned the pork and veggies to the oven for 23 to 24 minutes.

The pork came out tender, juicy, and just slightly pink. I don't think I would have been able to eat it if it had only roasted 13 to 15 minutes, as Ida instructed.

    Great Recipe!

I have made a lot of pork tenderloins and this one is by far the best! The flavor and tenderness from the marinade is wonderful. I marinated mine overnight and grilled it on the stovetop in a grill pan. It did take about 5-8 minutes longer than Ina's recipe, but it was oh so worth it! My husband and I both raved about it and teased that Jeffrey was a very lucky man. This is the perfect recipe for pork tenderloin and I will use this as my go to recipe from now on. Definitely a recipe for everyone to try. You will be blown away!

Never made pork tenderloins in my life. My 84 yo mother decided I should cook the Christmas dinner and that?s what she wanted. As I think Ina is one of the best cooks on FN decided to try this recipe, knew it would not fail me. It was incredible!! I read the reviews and they all raved and I concur. But the one thing I did do based on the reviews was to paper towel off the pork before searing. This is KEY. Also, the biggest hit was the sauce I made! After cooking, I added the marinade back to the cooking pan, added some water and heated to get up all the browned bits. An incredible sauce. Thanks Ina.

Delicious marinade. Great go-to for a weekday dinner at home that looks more difficult than it is to make.

We already have a favorite pork tenderloin recipe, but I decided to try this one out on my family of myself, husband and 2 teens. It got a huge thumbs up (one teen says the other recipe is still his favorite, but he ate every bit of this one! and for me, I think it was better than the other one (which was from Bon Appetit. I did cut back on the salt, because I think, in general, Ina uses too much salt. Other than that, I didn't alter anything. Probably should have cooked it about 3 minutes less than I did, but that wasn't the recipe's fault. (I just still have that undercooked-pork phobia left over from childhood. The most time consuming part of this was just prepping the marinade, and that still didn't take long. Overall, this is a great recipe, yields great results, and is going into my book of favs.

My husband is a big beef eater and very particular. He took his first bite and many thereafter and said the pork was as good or better than any fillet mignon he ever had. I have never seen him so impressed over a recipe. Thank you Ina
