It could be because I have never tried tarragon before, it maybe an acquired taste but my boyfriend thought it was great.

The first time I made it I used dill (dried Instead of fresh tarragon. Today I doubled it and used all the correct ingriedents. My husband asked what did you put in this , I don't care for it. The tarragon (fresh tastes licorice-y. A little too sophisticated for some! I am trying to doctor it up with dill now.

Next time I try this recipe - I think adding thyme and rosemary might give it more of the flavor I wanted.

I'm not sure what happened with mine. The only thing that I can think of is that I did not add the dressing when the potatoes were still warm as I have a baby that I had to attend to. The dressing did not absorb. I really like her other potato salad much better. I cannot remember the name, but search potato and Ina and you should get it. It's fabulous.

I only used parsley. I did make the vinagrette as the recipe called. I added peas (frozen to my potatoes. The taste was very fresh and the recipe was easy and quick to put together.

I had never attempted potato salad prior to this so I was nervous but I knew Ina's recipe would be the best. I made it the day before the event, tasted it then and it was good but the next day it was great! My uncle could not get enough, he had 3 large helpings alone. Thanks Ina for a fun and easy recipe that was a hit with everyone!

Ina, you just rock! Everything I try of yours is great. This is amazing...the complexity of flavors, yet the lightness of it is wonderful. Thank you!

I couldn't find 'fresh' tarragon, but even without it this was GREAT!
I am going to the store tomorrow to buy more ingredients.
Loved it!

FINALLY! A potato salad that I can make and actually like. (Have never had any luck with the mayo and egg variety But this is really wonderful. Being from the Southwest, I like it a bit more "zippy" but lemon zest, red pepper flakes and a bit more salt took care of that. Particularly like the fact that no mayo means this can go on picnics without worrying about food poisoning. This is yummy. Thanks Ina.

love this recipe. the tarragon just adds a really nice flavor. i had two leftover pieces of bacon and chopped it up and added it to the recipe.
