This was really easy to make. Not a lot of ingredients and they were all EASY to find at my grocery store. It tastes fantastic. I don't like mayonaise doused potato salads. This was fresh tasting, fantasic and super easy.

    My Thanks to Ina Garten!!

I love Ina Garten, I watch her show religiously, and I always think everything she makes looks great. I followed this potato salad recipe to a "tee", the only exception being I used Yukon Gold potatoes (as she suggested on her show instead of white baking potatoes. I have to say the end result was pretty disappointing--the olive oil taste was so strong it overpowered everything else. I also suspect you have to be a lover of tarragon and parsley to fully enjoy this recipe. I myself prefer a mayonnaise based dressing for potato salad, and will most definitely stick with that next time I make potato salad.

I never really cook with tarragon so I wasn't familiar with the flavor. It was different but I might switch it out for another herb, just for me.

I made this for a cookout at a friend's house and everyone loved it. It didn't even sit the full 3 hours to marinate (sat maybe about 1 hour and the store was out of fresh tarragon so I used a less amount of dry and it was still very good. I recommend Kendall Jackson's chardonnay for the dry wine.

Very good! Great taste and texture! I subsituted yellow potatoes with red potatoes. I also subsituted white wine with red wine. The dressing is yummy and there's enough left over for a salad later!
