Made these with the chicken from this episode. I had the onions, garlic and herbs from our garden and added the other ingredients. My husband and I loved them. Will definitely make again.

Because of the positive reviews here I made these along with the Chicken Piccata and I am so glad I did. They are delicious. I'll make more next time so I have some on hand in the refrigerator to go with other meals. These will be a go-to dish in the future. The dressing is perfect, these melt in your mouth with roasted sweetness.

I did not think I would even like roasted onions, but the coating for this recipe is fantastic tasting! I like to make a little more on top than the recipe calls for after it is done. The coating adds a nice zing.

At first I wasn't sure about onions for a side, but Ina's dishes are usually always good. I did tweek this slightly, first I used additional herbs Rosemary, Oregano, Italian Parsley, & lemon zest to the Thyme. After roasting for about 45 min added baby carrots that had been tossed in dressing, roasted additional 30 min then added snow peas that had been tossed in dressing roasted about 10 more min. Drizzled dressing over onions each time I added additional veggies. Served this with Herb Grilled Chicken used same dressing minus Dijon. Paired with Chardonnay for wine dinner. Great recipe! Thanks Ina, will definitely make again!

Invited to friends party where they were serving prime rib. I took this as my dish to assist the hostess. It was a perfect compliment to the meat and everyone wanted to know how I made these delicious onions. Easy to do and great that you can serve at room temp! This is permanent in my collection.
